Das Hotel ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Der Ausblick aus dem Zimmer auf den Hooghly ist wunderschön. Es war alles soweit sauber, jedoch habe ich die Toilette nachputzen lassen, weil es nicht ganz in Ordnung war und um neue, frische saubere Bettwäsche gebeten, weil sie Löcher hatte. Das Personal war super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen sehr lecker und auf der Dachterrasse ist der Ausblick wunderschön.

Nicht gefallen hat mir, dass es im Restaurant sehr, sehr kalt war und es keinen Safe im Zimmer gab.

This hotel is a complete waste of money. Yes, the location is good, but that’s the ONLY good thing about it. The service is pathetic — staff are careless, rude, and act like they’re doing you a favor by just talking to you. For the kind of sky-high prices they charge, the experience is nowhere close to what you’d expect. The rooms and facilities are nothing special, absolutely not worth the money. Feels like they’re just cashing in on the prime location while giving zero importance to guest comfort. Honestly, I felt cheated. If you’re coming to Kolkata, avoid this place. You’ll find much better hotels at half the price with far better service.

The property is a repurposed ship which is a cool idea. The Bengali buffet lunch was great. The breakfast was amazing. The view was really beautiful as you are on the Ganges river and the Hooghly bridge is in front of you, from your room. But the property is very old and has not been upgraded. The room we were in, had a dirty old carpet with stains and the walls had old paint. The bathroom was clean. The room was probably very near the kitchen as we got lot of smells when we stepped into the balcony. The corridor also smelled of food. My suggestion is that the kitchen should not be kept so near the rooms and can be moved to the main entry area away from the boat which houses the rooms. The concept and property was very beautiful but unfortunately its not being managed well. Its worth a visit to dine, but the rooms need upgrades.
