Dukes’ Palace – by Dukes’ Hotel Collection

Tired, not what I would class as 5 stars. One lift out of order so stairs to room - nobody available to carry them out. Proprety very dated. Lumpy mattress. Lots of scrapes on walls. Could hear all the toilet and shower drains. Needed a real bit of love as property itself was pretty on the outside and staff were friendly - mostly.

Staff, service and property are exceptional! Breakfast, restaurant and bar are amazing! Must stay if travel to Bruges!

Hotel and staff amazing but we do not recommend our room - the family suite, 2 bedrooms, 700ft. Of the 3 windows, 2 are straight at a wall the other is a bedroom right next to the entrance, noisy and observed. Also maintenance could be better, 2 safes not working on arrival, air-con too cold and couldn’t be fixed for the whole of our 6 night stay and lights flickering. Still a beautiful hotel, just not this room.

Beautiful historic property in the heart of old Brugge. Lovely room with a view of all the towers of the main historic buildings. We had a lovely dinner in the dining room. Staff are attentive and helpful. Location was excellent for walking the old town. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Friendly and helpful staff. Extremely clean. Excellent restaurant, garden and bar.
