Sunset Motel Hood River

Close to my function I was attending. The folks at the front desk could not have been nicer…location…I was staying alone this time but the 4 fluffy pillows on the bed were on time! Thanks!

I found an old coffee filter in my coffee machine that wasn’t thrown out…but I cleaned the carafe and filter and made a pot of coffee and all was good.

My room was excellent. Very new, clean and comfortable. I always appreciate a coffee maker, microwave and refrigerator. Very comfortable bed and plenty of pillows. I also appreciate the fast and friendly check in process. I wish all motels could have a check in this efficient. And the price is excellent also. A solid value.

The room was spacious. I was in the 2 queens room. The bathroom had a nice clean tub. The bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows. Room included a decent size fridge, microwave, ironing stuff, a hair dryer and a coffee maker. Very nice.

Only downside was that other guests can't read. The parking lot is one way in and one way out. Not everyone follows directions.

Easy navigation and access, close to EV charging infrastructure, super close sundries (grocery store / liquor store), local made-to-order hot breakfast within < 0.5 km. Staff is prompt, courteous, and attentive.

Less than pristine-white bath washcloths. Maybe an enzyme stain lifter treatment to eliminate off-color? (The hand towels smelled fresh and felt fine, but didn’t look fresh)

Room was very clean, most things in the room were brand new. Bonus was a view of Mt. Adams from the window. We stayed there 2 days. There are restaurants nearby and grocery store across the street, which was very convenient.

The bed was very soft. No one picked up our food trash in the room on the 2nd day.
