A lovely setting and the staff were helpful and lit a log fire for us. The best drool was very comfortable

It felt like it was struggling, no daily housekeeping, limited breakfast on Thursday as no pastries had arrived. The big hall was cold when the fire wasn’t lit.

The location is within walking distance to shops/restaurants, clean, easy parking, has small area for lake access. Comfortable bed, modern bathroom. The karaoke night in the attached bar was excellent.

Surprising lack of "charm", not much decor...very boring room with a view of a huge electrical transformer directly out the window.
