DoubleTree by Hilton North Charleston - Convention Center

I would definitely stay again, very close to the airport and highway tons of food and shopping.

We me and my had great couple of days in Charleston

I had exceptional customer service during my visit. My flight arrived late (approximately midnight). The Manager on duty, Sheba, proactively called to make sure I was ok and still planning to be there that night. When I told her I was waiting for my bags at the airport she took the initiative to send the shuttle. As a result, he pulled up just as I exited baggage claim. The next morning, I had an early departure and she happened to still be on duty. She made sure I took advantage of my meal voucher before I left using the snack area (as I was in a hurry). This visit reaffirmed why I stay at Hilton whenever I can. Thanks, Sheba!

Pricey

What I didn’t like was I had to pay to park although I was just a guest and no complimentary breakfast.

Everyone and everything was wont

I liked the food,the location and the cleanliness. The staff are very friendly and easy going.

The refrigerator door did not close and it seems as the air wasn't circulating in the bathroom. But overall it was a good stay.

The Doubletree Hilton Convention Center is the best property in the airport and Convention area. Before I get into my review, I will need to first give a special thanks and recognition to Erica. She helped sort out a booking issue. She was prompt and resolute. Of all the properties in the Convention/ Airport area, the Doubletree is tops. First, the other Doubletree called "Doubletree airport" is not closest to the airport. This property is geographically the closest property to the airport of all hotels. Breakfast and dinner options are good. And compared to other local properties which shall remain nameless, the Doubletree isn't infested with mold and insects. If you are in search of a property near the airport or Convention center look no further.
