Fairmont Grand Del Mar

Anniversary weekend away from home. Fabulous property with a great vide. Loved the fire pit outside the room. Restaurant at the clubhouse was excellent. Service was top notch at the restaurant, front desk, valet and pool. Such a great hidden gem in a wonderful location. We'll be back to enjoy more of the property.

Our first visit to Fairmont Del Mar (although we’ve been to many Fairmont hotels) and we could not be more pleased. The staff was incredibly attentive and pleasant throughout our visit. The room was impeccable and well equipped and the hotel and grounds are exquisite. It wasn’t extremely busy during our stay which made it that much more enjoyable but my sense is that no matter how crowded the hotel is, the staff makes you feel special. It is not inexpensive to stay here, but well worth it, Bravo!

This was an unforgettable stay. I loved it all, from the moment we arrived at the hotel, we were warmly welcomed, one of the staff, Juan assisted us to our room, made sure we were well settled in, and he took the time to tell us about the exciting places we could visit. We loved it all😊

Everyone was great and I am so grateful for the time we had. Thank you to Dylan, Ana, Juan and the super awesome servers at the pool. Too many stars to mention! And all the valet that made the weekend! We will always be back 🙂

Bathtub

We've stayed at Grand Del Mar every Mothers Day weekend with this last trip being our fifth and likely last. The resort is beautiful, but service is now on par with a 3 star hotel. We LOVE the Fairmont brand, but staff interactions on this visit were SO hit/miss that at $900/night just not acceptable. Check-in and Amaya staff were 5star but Check-out and Valet were memorable for the wrong reasons. Also, hot water was shutoff without warning. The Resot Fee is $70 which does not include parking...thats another $70. Upon check out I asked the Desk Agent what does the "Resort Experience" include, ti which she replied, "thats just a fee we charge to stay here." Great last impression!

Incredible stay with my parents — we are so grateful to this property and cannot wait to come back! The customer service was truly exceptional. Every staff member was attentive, kind, and made us feel genuinely cared for throughout our stay. The property itself is absolutely beautiful and impeccably maintained. I especially loved the soft music playing around the resort — it created such a relaxing and elegant atmosphere. Both pool areas were stunning and had their own unique vibe. We also tried the ice cream at the pool, which was absolutely delicious! The lobby lounge with live piano music and a fireplace was also a standout; we loved spending time there. The food overall was very good. Breakfast each morning was another highlight. The terrace setting was beautiful, and enjoying breakfast outdoors made the experience even more special. Thank you for such a memorable stay.

Excellent staff and accommodations; Poolside smash burger was 10/10

Came here for a coworkers wedding! Beautiful property and beautiful views. We were upstairs that had a terrace for reception and dinner. The staff were all amazing and very kind. Food was so good. Andrea the bartender outside was just wonderful. Very hospitable and accommodating. She went out of her way many times for us. My coworkers father used to work at the hotel and we were all treated so well and just had a blast. Will be back!!

Fabulous stay at the Fairmount Grand Del Mar. The property is impeccable, room was glorious and the service top notch. Better than the Montage, St. Regis, and the Teranea put together!
