Was disappointed the pool was not open. The front desk clerk a woman of color with long braids… was AWESOME!! She was extremely professional and friendly.. recommended places to eat and visit!

Overall stay was good, caulking around shower could have been better, there was a little mold on shower door everything else was good

Comfortable place to stay

i loved how conviently located the property was. it was very clean. even the place to walk my dog was clean. the staff were so friendly and helpful. i will be staying there agagin.

A recent stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites Waco-South, located at 2501 Marketplace Drive, Waco, Texas, was made truly exceptional by the incredible service received from the entire staff, with standout moments provided by Sharon, Delexcia, and John. From the moment of arrival, the warm hospitality was evident. Sharon at the front desk provided a welcoming check-in and proactively inquired if anything was needed, ensuring a comfortable and satisfactory experience right from the start. The room itself was found to be clean and well-maintained, meeting all expectations for a pleasant stay. The breakfast provided was also enjoyable, offering a good start to the day. However, the true testament to the hotel's outstanding customer care came after departure. Upon realizing, some 200 miles away, that a wedding band had been left behind in the room, a message to the front desk was met with swift and reassuring action. Delexcia promptly searched the room and, much to my relief, located the missing ring. The exemplary service continued when inquiring about the ring's return. Without any hesitation, John at the front desk offered to send the wedding band via the post office. This level of attentiveness and willingness to go the extra mile is deeply appreciated and speaks volumes about the dedication of the staff at Hampton Inn & Suites Waco-South. This experience highlights a team committed to guest satisfaction, not just during the stay, but even after departure. The clean accommodations and good breakfast were certainly positives, but the incredible, above-and-beyond service from Sharon, Delexcia, and John is what makes this hotel truly memorable. Their actions turned a potentially stressful situation into a heartwarming reminder of great customer service. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel for a stay in Waco.

Not very friendly at checkin

We were there for Baylor graduation. Stayed 2 nights. The room was adequate, tho we did run out of Kleenex and the TP roll was getting low. We ended up checking out a day early (did not spend 3 nights). I was watching the hallway for housekeeping in the morning and then that afternoon before we left so I could request refills. Never saw housekeeping at all, which is truly puzzling. There were all kinds of take out food bags & boxes sitting outside guest rm doors all day. Hmmmm. Other than that, we had a spacious room (which was a handicapped room). Turned out to be not too bad. The only complaint was the lack of counter space in the bathroom. Don’t handicapped people need counter space like the rest of us? The breakfast & area was really nice. Good food, tho limited choices. The ladies working the eating area were SO nice! The facility really could use some updating. The hallway carpets outdated and look as if someone spilled bleach here & there. But, the bed was comfortable; the shower good and the AC unit fairly quiet. Front desk staff friendly.
