Red Roof Inn PLUS Woodbridge - Carteret

The location. Reception and hallways are clean. The hotel was very quiet.

The room has a moisty smell, towels were stains, pubic hair still in the bath tub, the tub had some rust, we stayed because it was close to family funeral, the room was not cleaned once during our 3 nights stay, even the room trash was not empty daily if you wanted empty you had to leave outside the room. When asked, housekeeping for new towels was redirected to the front desk. Was giving 1 room key for 2 people, so we had to make sure we were together or give each other the room key if one had to go back to the hotel. The beds were very soft. We thought it was going to sink in. Both receptionists at check-in and out were ok, but they didn't seem to be too happy of working and that we were bothering them. No smile and not very friendly.

No elevator. Needs to be fixed for ambulatory individuals.

Es war sehr laut. Einflugschneise der Flugzeuge, aber auch nachts, wahrscheinlich von einem Luftschacht.
