La Quinta by Wyndham Eastland

The nicest staff at this hotel. Easy truck and Rv parking in back. Walmart very close to hotel. We tried the Texadelphia cheesesteak place across the street. Very good philly cheesesteak and other delicious food

Bed was comfortable, room was clean, chairs need to be checked regularly ( due to wheels falling off. Had I known that the pool and hot tub were not working, I would have cancelled my reservation and found somewhere else to stay. (Especially for the price I paid) We were visiting our grandchildren and we only see them once a year, and they were looking forward to going swimming. There are plenty of places close to to the property to eat that are very good and have great reviews.

Breakfast was mediocre

The gentleman that checked us in was so helpful and kind. The rooms were nice and quiet. Danka!

Room was pretty shabby, arm chair in particular!

The bed was plastic covered.

Corners of the room were brown in bathroom rotten

We travel to to t he Abilene and Metroplex area several times a year. We usually stay in Abilene because we can use our rewards for another franchise, but the place we have been staying has became unfriendly and uncaring in service. I have read the recent reviews on it prior to this last trip, and saw the complaints were the same as ours and haven't improved. So I checked for another pet friendly motel in the area and we have always enjoyed our stays with Wyndam units so we gave Eastland a try. It will be our new go to place while traveling to see our family. Thank you.

The staff was generally friendly

The hotel was dirty. Pool, vending and sauna were all out of order. Furniture all showed heavy wear. The room was filthy, the bathroom and shower had signs of water damage and the shower head leaked everywhere and pressure was terrible.
