The Montcler Hotel - Redberri Luxury Collection

Our flight got in Late so at 2.30am we arrived at the hotel and the front desk said that the system did not allow to check. So in order to stay we need to pay again for the night. We traveled a lot and this is the first time,l confronting this situation.

Facility is dated. In desperate need of updates

Immediately upon waking into our room it felt very muggy inside. We had to keep the AC on most of the time in order for it not to feel that way. The toilet had stains inside the bowl, like no one has been cleaning it properly. The bathtub had a soap leak all inside running down because of the shampoo / soap dispensers on the wall. The pillows were not great nor the beds kind of uncomfortable usually hotel beds are my great for me.

Our room was exceptionally clean. I felt very safe in this area.

It was the most expensive super 8 I’ve ever been too, the halls had a weird smell, the room had blood stains on the ceiling. The room was reserved for 4 and they only gave us two towels, I had to call for more and the front desk got upset.

So many disappointments. It took over 15 minutes to check in. The Front desk clerk should be trained to NEVER say your room number out loud, especially when you are a single female and there is a stranger in line behind you. He ended up having the room across the hall from me, even though the occupancy was very low (I asked). Everything is outdated. TVs are old and do not work. You only get two bath towels. The coffee maker did not have cups and was filthy (hair, built-up dirt, etc.) The furniture was put together wrong (the drawer wouldn’t shut). I called down to the lobby to address my concerns, but it went to an answering service, and I was told to leave a message (it was 8:00 pm), and I never received a call back. I was not advised there was a breakfast bar, and I wish I hadn’t stumbled upon it. When I was there, it only had cold tater tots, hard pancakes, and a meager choice of bread and cereals. For the price of $150, I was shocked by the condition of the property. Go to Yorkville for your hotel and stay with a trusted chain.
