Overall was nice and good value for money. Enjoyed the breakfast selection.

Food is excellent, breakfast and dinner, incredible variety to suit all tastes and great value. 138rmb for buffet breakfast, 160rmb for buffet dinner. Rooms are excellent, tastefully decorated and confortable. Employees are terrific, everyone was happy and engaging and quick to please. Ideal for business traveller, business rooms and desktops, printing etc. 20rmb per hour for desktop use (in other hotels, they've sought 60rmb for 30mins), so this hotel was brilliant value. Very flexible for late checkout for very late evening flights....I had no hassle in seeking this. Gym is good, most equipment youll need for the basics. Hotel located opposite Chengdu World Center and 30 minutes to the airport. No question I'd stay there again, a 3 Star price for a 4 Star experience, without question.

Good location during the Wines & Spirits fair but it was 27 degrees outside and even warmer inside: no aircon in the rooms except for the lobby and bar/restaurant. Actually the rooms are fine and comfortable but half of them were transformed into liquor boots which created an incredible mess in the elevators. It seems the other hotels of the same group were not much better. IHG should make up their mind: either you rent to guests or to liquor exhibitors......

I think this is all the luxury you need without going over the top (like having too many staff just standing around or excessively large lobby). The price is very reasonable and the food choice is good.

Pleasant Hotel, with all necessary comfort!

I choiced this hotel because it closes to Chengdu airport but it still took about 30 min by driving in the very early morning of Saturday and should be longer time during the day due to traffic. The room was small and everything looks old and uncomfortable.

Generally the hotel is OK. The service is satisfactory. But the location of the hotel is a litle bit further from the city. No swimming pool is also a dissatisfaction. I have tried the buffet dinner and the food is fresh, wide variety, and up to standard.

I had a wonderful stay at the Holiday Inn Chengdu Century West. The staff was outstanding and I felt very comfortable.

The hotel was clean and provided good service. However I would not recommend it to vacation travelers. The hotel is a convention site and can have many people. The location is about a half hour from downtown. So if you want convenience it is better to check in to a hotel in the downtown area.
