Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Lexington-Downtown University by IHG

The hotel was very nice and clean. But there were people stomping around on the upper floors while trying to sleep as our room is on the first floor. It has an indoor pool open at 9:00 AM TO 11:00 PM at the back of the hotel. And a fitness center and guest laundry that is open for 24 hours. Breakfast was delicious as all Holiday Inn Express has good cinnamon rolls. If you’re looking for a place to stay near the University of Kentucky campus, I highly recommend this hotel for your lodging needs. The reason we stayed here because we have to be at the hospital for our friend’s surgery at 9:15 in the morning.

When checking out, female staff was on her phone socializing. Breakfast was late being served. The king size bed was too hard and uncomfortable.

Noisy…trains, emergency vehicles sirens, squeaky bed. Just a lot of noise! Difficulty with sleeping

Cleanliness, could see the box springs on the bed, nowhere does it mention there’s a train near by, can EASILY hear the room above us
