There was no hot water.

I’m a Hilton Honors member and frequently stay at Hilton branded hotels with my service dog. When I checked in at this hotel last night, without any mention to me, they automatically put a $100 charge on my card (over the room rate) for “Incidentals”! They claimed to have had a lot of thefts and vandalism and the $100 was charged to everyone to cover any losses! As a disabled vet and a Hilton Honors member I found this to be an outrageous scam. They say my money should be refunded “within a week”! This hotel doesn’t deserve the Hilton name IMHO! No more Sparks for me!

Upon check in, I was interrogated and bullied by the staff at the front desk about my service animal. I am required to travel for work and allowed to bring my service animal for medical purposes( whom is registered, and trained).The staff bullied me to the point I couldn’t think straight (hence why I have a service animal) and I was pressured into paying the “pet” fee, even though I explained everything in detail. I have never had this happen to me. Furthermore, I was never acknowledged as a Diamond member and was passed off as soon as other guests arrived at the counter. The staff never explained where my room was located or the other welcome details that guests and diamond members receive. The next day I was harassed by housekeeping to clean the room. They demanded I allowed them inside, even though I repeatedly told them I was on a conference call for work and cannot be disturbed (I had the do no disturb card on the door knob). They harassed me twice by door and then proceeded to call the room phone and allowed it to ring for almost an entire minute. Aside from the awful situation with the staff, the hotel is moderately clean because it’s still newly renovated. During check out, I asked for a copy of the pet policy I signed under duress. The lady said she couldn’t provide it for me because it was locked. She said it would be emailed to me. A week and half later I still haven’t received it. There are so many other hotel options in the area . You stay at the Spark at your own risk.

It was a very nice place. When we walked in the clerk at the desk greeted us right away.

The facility was comfortable and easily adequate. However, there a few minor issues that could be improved. First, while I realize that many people are adept at technology, many older folks, such as me, might find it difficult to navigate the television to any particular station without a "hard copy" of the various available channels. Second, the breakfast was significantly lacking , especially when compared to other hotels I've used. The offerings pretty much consisted of cold cereal, fruit, juice and toast/bagels. One item that may be more difficult to change is the real slope of the sidewalk/driveway starting immediately outside the door. I had to struggle to keep the luggage cart from rolling away. I will likely use this hotel again but just mentioned a few minor things. Thanx and God bless.

The hotel waa very clean. The room was very nice and spacious. It was right off the highway. You are in walking distance to fast food. The staff was very friendly. Would definitely stay again.

We were truly appreciative of this property and hotel. The staff was wonderful. We were there to visit our son & family. The staff welcomed them to the property and were very willing for us to use the dining area and we do appreciate it very much. We stayed for 3 nights and would definitely recommend this to any and everyone.

Beautiful clean new property with paper-thin walls.

We stayed one night on our way to Florida. Looked like a brand new hotel but I think it just renovated. Everything was new and clean. Pool looked very nice, clean and well kept. Depending on which end of the hotel you get you might get a lot of street noise. Breakfast was just OK, bagels and muffins. Coffee was not that great. I don’t like that you have to join Hilton Honors to get the free Wi Fi, kind of a cheap move since just about every other hotel has free Wi Fi with no strings attached. I gave it 5 star even with that and the not so great breakfast.

It was ok but the elevator stopped working by the time we got back around 11pm and when we asked the desk clerk about it she said it was ‘rebooting’. That’s a new one on me. Also the tv in the room kept cutting out so watching the Army/Navy game was challenging. We tried using our Roku stick but apparently there was a dongle necessary that wasn’t available to us. Also we could hear every step in the hallway. I know it’s a low budget Hilton but I kind of expected a little bit better than it was. The lady that checked us in was awesome though!
