Holiday Inn Express Norwich by IHG

Lovely quiet place to lay your head. Despite there being a gym in the same premises.

This was our third visit to Norwich and we stayed in Holiday Inn Express again. Great location for us. Service is good as usual. Breakfast had limited choice compared to other Holiday Inns (veggie sausages not great!) Our room was on the side near to David Lloyd’s which didn’t bother us until they played very loud music at 9am disturbing our sleep! If staying again I will request a room on the other side.

Rooms great . Good shower . Bar OK prices not so much . Had burger and chips on first night , not good at all didn't finish it and didn't have food 2nd night to avoid disappointment.

We were warmly welcomed by a very friendly receptionist who checked us in (I’m so sorry I forgot her name—she had red hair). Our room was clean, quiet, and had a well-functioning AC, which made our stay very comfortable. The car park next to the hotel was conveniently priced at £5 for hotel guests, which we found reasonable. Asda shop is next door if you forget anything, and McDonald's if you get hungry. Breakfast was on the minimalist side, but still offered a few options to choose from. The highlight of our stay, however, was the amazing surprise arranged for my son’s birthday weekend. I had emailed ahead asking if a birthday card and a few balloons could be placed in the room. What we walked into completely exceeded our expectations! A massive thank you to Lina, who went above and beyond by decorating the door to our room with a birthday banner and balloons—and even more balloons awaited us inside! It was beautifully done, and my son absolutely loved it 💙. You truly made our weekend unforgettable—thank you!

Room nice size & clean. But from about 6am, we could hear bassy music presuming from the gym next door. Outside of property was a mess, the bin was over flowing & cigerette buts all over. Not a welcoming sight. The disabled spot was taken by someone without/not displaying blue badge

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Norwich and had a fantastic experience! The hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. The room was comfortable and clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious! The variety of options was great, and everything was freshly prepared. I'd highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Norwich. Overall, a great stay with excellent value for money. Absolutely recommend this for short stay"

All good 2 minor things, no yoghurts at breakfast and dining room chairs make a horrible noice when people move them ( as I say minor things) Everything else very good Nice breakfast plenty of choice Rooms fine Location fine
