Staybridge Suites Fargo by IHG

Great room, great service, quiet, clean. Only complaint is that the pool was out of service and it didn't say it was when i booked the room. My kiddos were very disappointed.

Extremely poor customer service. Severe maintenance issues in my room: Dishwasher was not bolted down, kitchen faucet was loose, cabinets doors and drawers were loose, shower curtain rod was bent so water ran all over the floor, dresser handle was severely bent, curtains did not cover the window so we had noise and light all night long, bagels at breakfast were moldy, hall door trim was loose and showing nails. Hotel was advertised online as having a pool. It was out of order and the extremely unhelpful desk person stated they had no intentions of ever fixing it, and refused to offer any solutions other than for me to drive all my children to a nearby hotel if we wanted to swim. We accidentally broke some glass and no one answered the front desk phone. I had to hunt down the employee, he never even offered to help clean up. Told me to get the broom out of their commercial kitchen and clean it up myself. I left a written complaint with my phone number and 2 weeks later no one has contacted me to address my concerns. Only saving grace was the amazing kitchen lady who served breakfast- she sang as she worked and taught my kids to count in Spanish. We loved her, but the rest of our stay was crushingly disappointing.

I transferred to your hotel due to the absolute out of control chaos and noise from hockey teams at another hotel in town. Your hotel was nice and quiet! I was there for an extended stay work trip and got so much work done! It was great! Thank you! I’ll be back!

Room was terrible. Broken cabinet doors, smelled like smok smoke, popcorn on the floor under beds, couch in living space broken down so badly couldn't be comfortably at while visiting

Nice room. Nothing was stocked. No towels, no dishes or pans and no silverware.

Upon entry into the hotel room, it was apparent that my hotel room was not cleaned. There was Froot Loops all over the floor, and in the drawers, none of the surfaces were wiped down, appeared the hard surfaces were not swept/vacuumed, hairballs in the shower, pull out sofa still had very dirty sheets on it. We ended up leaving the hotel the next day, and the hotel manager did comp us for the night. I was very appreciative ended up cleaning my hotel room the night that we had to stay in it as all the other hotel rooms were at capacity. The hotel manager was just as dissatisfied as we were. They were honestly genuine in their response. The stairs did have crumbs up and down the stairway. The breakfast was good and the breakfast server was very nice and very clean. I also had family member staying in a different hotel room, who did have a clean hotel room. The pool was out of service and we were not informed prior to staying. Overall, it was a very disappointing stay and we had to last-minute find another hotel to extend our stay as we were scheduled to stay there for four nights.

The pool was closed, with no notification prior to stay or at check in. We only learned of that when we brought our 4 kids dressed to swim, down to the pool. Thermostat in room was broken, and was never checked on even after request. TV in one bedroom didn’t work, and again, wasn’t checked on even after request.

It was an enjoyable experience

Although I booked same day through Expedia on a long cross country drive and received a confirmation number when I arrived close to midnight reception told me there was no reservation and they were full. I had to look elsewhere in the middle of the night. Can’t trust them to have your room reserved. I was even charged but Expedia refunded. Don’t stay here

Fine. Room was quiet and comfortable. Employees were forgettable drones going through their paces and the cost per night was probably 20% too high. Which explains the empty rooms.
