It's a good place to stay but you don't want to leave the hotel and stand outside it's out it's located close to the notorious monkhouse I think we heard enough gunshots that made it sound like we were in a war. Also they don't tell you about the deposit until you get there and it's kind of astronomically high

Pros: service from the staff was exceptional! They greeted u everytime we entered and was friendly. Cons: property is older. Woke up to a roach in the bathroom, pool didn't look that great (so I didn't let the kids get in) and the fragrance gave me a headache.

The property is in a great location but can use some remodeling

Everyone has a different experience but after reading some other reviews, I had to post ours. This is probably the quietest hotel we have ever stayed at. Spent 3 nights and literally heard NO ONE talking in the halls. The staff were some of the kindest, sweetest people we have encountered at hotels. The breakfast was probably better than 50% of places we have stayed (and we are on the road a lot!) I will agree that the room did have a damp feel in the evenings but it wasn’t intolerable. Carpets are dated so that may contribute to it. There were dehumidifiers in the hall. Perhaps some in the rooms would help. The area was perfect. Only hotel in middle of lots of business so traffic at night was minimal. Typical size hotel room. No sitting area but If you need a place to spend the night, this would be a great choice.

So firstly this is literally my first time writing a review about pretty much anything online. And really not out of spite or anger or anything but I felt like I would be wrong if I didn’t speak up about this for others. The first room I went into (219) immediately walking into it I could smell mildew, and I didn’t think much of it till about the 3 night (I was staying 2 weeks) the room was poorly ventilated and very damp. My clothes and bed sheets felt wet. In the bathroom my brush has a blue coating on it and it was peeling off and sticking to my hands due to the dampness. Towels would not dry even after airing them out. It tried leaving window open but doesn’t open all the way. Just small little crack. I called from my bed around 2 am in the morning itching and realizing it was the mildew in the air which I’m sensitive to. I had the concierge if they had a dehumidifier or something and he suggested moving me into different room. I also had him come up and confirm it himself that the room was very damp and smelled of mold. Even my clothes which I hung up in the closet felt wet and uncomfortable and had me itching. I was moved to another room 200 which was a bit better because the aç was already high when walking in. But still smelled slightly like mildew also. However after the 3 night I started to get the itch again. However it wasn’t as bad as the other room, my sheets and clothes didn’t feel wet and the water on bathroom sink would dry so I was confused. Then I checked the aç and noticed the filter or where the air was coming from was beyond dirty! But beside all this I didn’t feel like making a fuss about this because I only had a couple of days left anyway but I was done and had to book and the Hampton in near by (which I should’ve done in first place) when the wanted me to bring my wet laundry over to them to dry. Laundry was not working and first time I went to them about this the manager I believe was kind enough to take my laundry and do it for me. Which I really didn’t feel comfortable doing but there guest laundry machines were broken the entire time I was there. Then I needed to do laundry again the told me that the washer is fixed but not the dryer so the wanted me to wash and then bring my wet clothes down to them to dry…. I suggested why not do it for me like you did last time and they said it’s in use but I can set it there and they’ll do later. I needed up goin to the store and buying clean underwear.. Also TVs are useless and needed to buy an hdmi and speaker cord to connect my laptop to it to watch on the tv and the color was in blue… But the tv In 20 was better still slow and hard to change anything on it with remove but color was clear and had sound. Refrigerator in 200 had broken shelf’s . But seriously nothing against anybody there, the staff were accommodating and understanding. However for all the money they’re taking they really need to invest in the upkeep of the hotel. Going to Hampton was like night and day. I felt I was actually in a hotel in a first world country. I was not expecting this from Holiday Inn.

The smell was terrible in the room and there were huge stains everywhere on the floor.

Everything was very good.

The location Breakfast was good and Pascal made our experience even better.

Our room smelled like urine. Our room was not cleaned. Our keys and door knob didn’t work.
