Holiday Inn Express Hotel and Suites Shreveport South Park Plaza by IHG

For the price, this hotel needs updating. You're paying for the area, because the hotel itself isn't up to par. The rooms were outdated, breakfast was burnt and not a variety of food items. The staff were friendly, but I wouldn't stay here in the future.

Not 3 star

This is an old property needing a major overhaul. Bathtub had mold and a big crack. Blackout shade was mildewed and had holes in it. Room was muggy despite running the AC. Splintered doors. Thin towels. TV wouldn’t connect. I won’t stay here again.

Friendly staff

The staff at this location are as good or better than any other staff out there! Efficient, courteous, friendly, interested in my comments - are just a few of their good points! No doubt, I will stay at this location next time I visit Shreveport

Room felt worn; old furnishing. To use the remote for the TV you had to be within a foot of the TV. I had to get out of bed to change the channel. The channel selection was poor. Shower towel was torn. Lobby floors were really sticky.

Robin in the kitchen was awesome and so sweet. The rooms smelled must and there was a blinking light above the bed for some reason.

They need to change carpets
