Holiday Inn Express Warrenton by IHG

Let me just say that people know when you are cutting back to save the hotel money, while over-charging the people. Bacon, that was my only complaint. It's always empty, every time I come for a stay. I waited 20 minutes and then watched the breakfast cook put out six pieces of bacon - for how many guests????????? Now, the sausage pan was full when I arrived and full when I left, maybe 20 pieces or more, which any fool can see means YOU are skimping on the bacon and pushing sausage, while WE prefer bacon. At least at Baymont I can get all the bacon I want, and they are newly remodeled, so it's just as comfy. And they don't have signs up for elite parking there either.

Alana was a welcoming host and very sweet. The room was good. We requested a king but none available. Good kitchenette. We could not get a proper news station? The TV didn’t want to cooperate. Close to restaurants and grocery store. The breakfast lady was pretty grumpy? Not sure what we may have done to offend her.

Great choices for breakfast. Important reason for selecting hotel.

Increased prices on Fridayy and Saturday nights.

It was close to everyone that I wanted to visit and it was close to food and shopping.

It was way over priced.

The breakfast was good and the staff are always willing to do their best.

I switched from another hotel in town because I had always liked this hotel in the past, even though it is the most expensive in Warrenton, MO. This time the elevator was not working. I had a lot of luggage/supplies due to coming for work. They found a room on the main floor but it was wheelchair accessible. This normally wouldn't matter to me but the walk-in shower flooded all over the bathroom floor every time I showered. For people that are normally in this room because it is hard for them to get around-this is a real hazard.

I was in the area for a local event, and shared a room with a friend. Hotel room was clean. Check-in was easy. Bed was comfortable, with a variety of pillows with different firmness. Breakfast included hot selections, which was appreciated. The only complaints were that the hot water ran out after 10 minutes during a shower at about 4pm, which seems like a strange time to run out of hot water. Additionally, some one had dropped a chew tin or something similar in the elevator, and whole the hotel had put down a "wet floor" sign, the mess was in the elevator for at least half an hour day.

My room smelled like smoke. My mattress was uncomfortable and hot.
