Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Frankfort by IHG

Great breakfast. Lots to choose from.

We stayed there for four nights and had to exchange our key cards three times. The pool could use a cleaning too.

Very comfortable. The location was perfect for the places we wanted to visit.

Easy access from highway. Room is very comfortable and with two chairs.

It was clean and convenient

Nothing about the property itself, except I wanted a handicap accessible room without a tub and was given one anyway. I expressly stated at check in that I wanted a room without a tub. However, the tub did have 5 grab bars so while inconvenient, it didn’t ruin the room experience.

Loved the layout of the room. Specifically, the couch and tv and bathroom area was away from the sleeping area.

I reserved three rooms for our stay, and unfortunately, two of them had a strong, unpleasant odor that made the experience uncomfortable. The pool area was also a major letdown—it was in serious need of updates and maintenance. Most concerning was that the wheelchair assist chair was broken. Had I known this in advance, I would not have booked this hotel, as accessibility is a priority for us. That said, the pool and pool area was in such poor condition that we wouldn’t have used it even if the chair had been working.

Only thing I didn't like was the plugs and the light didn't work on one side of the bed.
