Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Bethlehem by IHG

This is our go to hotel for our annual visit to see friends who live locally. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and acknowledge my rewards status as well as remembering us from one year to the next ! The hotel has a large car park and is easy to access from the main road. We had a large room with 2 queen beds,separate sitting area ,kitchen with sink , microwave fridge,kettle etc . A good amenities tray. There was a large desk ,office chair and additional buffet area. The room was modern and very ,very clean. There was a large bathroom with a powerful shower,plenty of towels and good quality toiletries. The breakfast offers plenty of choice of cooked food ,cereal,yogurts ,fruit etc and again the staff are very friendly. There is coffee available 24 /7 from the machines in the breakfast area. We always make use of the pool,which is very clean and again has plenty of towels and is open until 11pm. We will see you next year.

The bathroom floor had noticeable dirt on it and could have been vacuumed better

The room was very large and very clean. The bathroom was spotless

The only thing I was a little put off by is a private group comes in mid Sundays for 4.5 hours to use the pool and its closed to everyone but that group. I think as a paying guest who was going to use the pool and told no was off putting

This hotel was a terrible experience. In the mornings, I could not sleep because the staff made too much noise with machines and talked very loudly on their phones. When I checked in at night, there was no parking space for my car, which I cannot just leave anywhere. Also, the elevator was broken when I arrived, and I had to carry my luggage up the stairs. Because of all this, I had to cancel one night of my stay and pay again at another hotel. On top of that, I now have to wait over 10 days to get my money back. For these reasons, I did not enjoy my stay and I would not recommend this place.
