voco Paris – Porte de Clichy by IHG

This hotel was very clean and staff were accomadating but the biggest issue we had was the air conditioning in our rooms were not working. Despite having repeatedly told them about fixing our a/c in the room nothing was done. We paid very expensive rates for our room and were not happy with our room.

Good hotel the executive room is the best for a panoramic view of Paris, the metro is lose by so easy to get into town although taxi drivers seemed reluctant to travel to cliché in the evenings a bit odd . Staff and service was good the prices for breakfast a bit over the top for what you get but overall it's ok.

Good: The room I stayed in was very clean, Its probably one of the best room if not the best. I have the view the Eiffel Tower while in bed. I spent several hours a day watching the tower light up. It is also close to the Metro station making it easy to go to other Paris attractions. Bad: Internet, phone call (local) and breakfast are not free and very expensive. Getting a stay extension or stay adjustment is also very hard.

Very exspensive for the position and the food was very average but top dollar and the front of house staff could be more helpfull

The hotel staff was friendly. Rooms small but to be expected. The location was good and close to shops and Metro station. The hotel was the most expensive in the area, and had the least amenities. There was no pool, spa and gym had only 3 pieces of equipment. Also, the food was extremely expensive at the hotel, and not much of a selection. A Coca Cola was 7 Euros!!! Most Cafe's only charge 3 Euros for the same size Coca Cola, so I was very disappointed that the staff failed to greet me with a map of the hotel that explained they had a vending machine on the 6th floor. The woman that checked me in was very friendly, but not very knowledgeable. The hotel lobby did not have brochures and or information for local restaurants and or things to do in Paris, and no phone book or book on Paris in the hotel room. That would have been nice had they had those things, as it would have helped to find things to do on a daily basis. I felt like I bothered the staff multiple times during the day asking how to get places or for restaurant and/or shopping recommendations. I would most likely recommend this hotel to a friend. However, I would suggest they look into the local hotels first, as they tend to be less expensive with the same quality standards, a great and inexpensive restaurant and same great location. The Hotel Ibis was across the street, and was beautiful with a price at 65 Euro's a night, whereas I paid 300$ a night!!!!

We used Expedia to find a hotel for three people. We ended up staying at this hotel but it only had two small beds. They had to wheel a cot in for the third person which took up any remaining room. Our cab driver advised us to be careful on the metro around this hotel as it is known for thieves. We didn't go to the metro late at night but used it around large crowds.

Compared to where we were initially Hotel Bellevue....Holiday Inn at Port de Clichy was heaven sent! The room was wonderfully decorated and the staff very friendly....not to mention down right handsome! The only issue we had was when we were greeted at checked-in we were told we could book additional nights the next morning but when we arrived at front desk the next morning, there were no more rooms available. I contacted hotels.com immediately trying to book another hotel at the last minute. The phone charges to make this change amounted to $300 USD! Totally unbearable and unnecessary!

we were very satisfied with this hotel. OK it is not central Paris but remember for that pleasure it would cost you a great deal more Euros per night. We didn't feel the location or the area of the hotel was unpleasent in any way, if anything we found the local residents very friendly and helpful especially at the metro station. Paris is a very expensive City, so bare that in mind before you travel there, you can save money on your hotel bill but once you hit the tourist areas ...be prepared to spend and enjoy !!!

Hotel OK but for a woman on her own Porte de Clichy area was run down and somewhat threatening at night
