"Exceptional"

Booked a 1 night stay to break up our journey to Essex. Delighted with all aspects of our visit from arrival to departure. Staff welcoming and polite. Nothing seemed to be any issue. Will definitely stay again. Would have no reservations about recommending this hotel to family and friends.

"1st birthday trip"

Arrived at Holiday Inn around 1.45 on 5/10/24 for a one night stay, entering the reception area it was clean, tidy and smelt lovely. We were promptly given our room which was on the first floor room 140. Entering the room I was pleasantly surprised, it had everything you needed including a hairdryer, tea/coffee. The shower and toilet could be partitioned off which I thought was a nice touch. An ice machine in reception area Breakfast was lovely, full English along with branded cereals, croissants, yoghurt, all fresh and promptly topped up. Staff were immaculately dressed and very helpful and friendly. Would I stay here again, most definitely, 10/10 from me. There is a pub opposite, the food there was also nice, also a 24 hour garage just behind that. Everything we needed was within walking distance

"Security issues"

Pretty average when all considered reception were okay but nothing special had to Lee getting our cards redone for access to our rooms and when we did there was no checking to see if we were the occupants could have been anybody really
