The front desk clerk, Heather, exhibited exceptional people skills while maintaining a professional demeanor!!! The facility was immaculate, and all needs were met by all the employees!! I was there for business the weeks of June 23 - July 3. During my stay I had an accident, where I fell out of the shower. When I went to the front desk to report it and file a claim with the company I was told that the showers were "cleaned using just water, so it should not have been slippery. I slipped and fell out of the shower pretty much as soon as I stepped into it. And the very IDEA that you do not use a cleanser is incredibly disgusting. After my incident, the older women at the front desk would not even speak to me when I asked a question. When my room was serviced there was always something missing...no refill on the coffee, or no cups etc. I have never had an issue with the Holiday Inn Express Hotels in all the time that I have been a guest so this was especially disappointing, considering the circumstance and the treatment following. The one good thing that I do want to make sure that I add, the younger female front desk employee was very lovely. There were a few other issues I had, when having meals delivered a driver told me that he was not permitted to bring my food upstairs (he was the only one told that) I had deliveries on a daily basis. My keys did not always work to open my door, I had to go back down more than once to get it corrected.
