Holiday Inn Express Airport East by IHG

I liked the hotel and the convient location to the airport. the rooms shut out the outside light fantastic great feature.

I detest dealing with the front desk clerk at check out. I was suppose to get a $20 credit because I waited at the airport for the shuttle more than 1 hour and 10 minutes. I made numerous calls to the hotel and calls were never answered. I ended up taking a Taxi to the hotel that cost 20 dollars. when checking out in the AM on the 4th of August it was noted for discount of $20 but she was unable to give me that discount because the manager had to be there to aprove it. She wasn't going to be in until 10AM. I had to leave to catch a flight to Jackson Hole that morning. So I said disregard the discount and just print me off a receipt for my expenses. She then told me she couldn't print the receipt until the manager comes in. I said that that doesn't make any sense. she then told me she was finished with me and went behind some wall as if to hide. I stood then in amazement and when she returned, was told by her that I had to leave . now I have no receipt. I'm dealing with a rude front desk agent who was a disgrace to IHG. she also told me my receipt would be emailed to me. when I returned to ATL Wednesday night I still did not have a receipt. I called the hotel directly Wednesday the 6th of August and was told that they would email my receipt. Today is the 7th of August and still have no email receipt. This is required so that I will be reimbursed by my employer. So that is my first and last stay ever at the Holiday Inn Express. Best regards, Benjamin J. Godfrey

Not nearly as nice as the Holiday Inn and Suites in south Idaho Falls. Appears to be being refurnished Beds were comfortable. Water pressure was great.

If flying out if SlC, excellent location. 5 minute drive from hotel. Very clean. Very nice facility.

Poor location to get food. Its located in business district. If you can, bring dinner with you. You have to travel through North Temple District to get to downtown salt lake for food. You don’t want to get out of your vehicle in North Temple district

Rooms were great. Lady preparing breakfast was super friendly.

House Keeping was very rude. Breakfast was missing the sausage gravy that all other Holiday inn have and I look forward too.
