Great place to stay

All good no problem

We had a good time while visiting with family and the hotel was good; however, two doors next to the pool area were continuously held open with bricks so that staff and "others" could go in and out for smoke breaks (even though the property signs say that it is a smoke-free property). I felt very unsafe knowing that anyone could come and go through those doors at any time. Please behind the pool area, there were a constant stream of men workers sitting and drinking which as a woman, I felt uneasy knowing that the door being held open gave them availability at all times to the hotel entrance. One important comment is that the staff is trustworthy and honest since we left something in the room and they returned it to us which tests most staff people and they passed with flying colors!

We love holiday inn and always try to stay when possible. We stayed for a softball event at the end of June. The hotel was clean and the staff was very polite. They said they were sold out for 3 consecutive days, and I feel like they were not prepared for that. They ran out of towels, all towels. Which I get, you can't control guests returning but was slightly inconvenient. Breakfast was good, but stuff went fast, I went up to get something that was full a minute prior, and it was gone both days, and they were simply out of it, after that. This includes silverware, no forks to eat the breakfast. Other than that, beds and rooms were comfortable and clean.

The breakfast was 5 stars. It was the best that I have ever had at a hotel. A great variety of foods to choose from. I was very pleased with this breakfast. Hot foods were very good.
