Holiday Inn Killeen - Fort Hood Area by IHG

It’s a god location.

Clerk said booking.com messed up and overbooked the hotel. I had reservations for over 2 weeks. Luckily the Fairfield inn by Marriot had a sweet. We will stay there from now on and not use booking.com.

Super clean & easily accessible!

I did not like the property the staff were unprofessional.

The staff stole money from my room . Charged my card for extra fees for no reason. The alarms kept going off,which I have proof of and the elevators were not working.

Firstly, parking is inconvenient. You have to park in the rear of the building and walk around. We were not greeted by the clerk when we walked in. The clerk was sitting when we walked in, the check in desk seemed like it was the business center. The clerk was rude from the start. She then greeted every other employee who walked in while minimally interacting with us. The keys were given to us in an small envelope with information written on it. We were placed on the 4th floor which was clearly being worked on. Folks were painting doors and coughing from lack of ventilation. Our door didn't have a sign so we had to guess which was ours. We asked the folks painting and they just stared at us. The door was not mounted correctly and we had to use such force to open and close. The room connected to hours had just been painted and loud fans ran all night. The room had an overwhelming paint smell. The next day, maintenance knocked on the door at 6:30am talking about changing the thermostat, even though we never called for service. At 7:30am workers were blasting music in the hallway. The refreshment center was poorly stocked. Finally our car obtained damage overnight, which was not identified until after we had already traveled quite a ways away. Extremely disappointed in every aspect of this visit. I will not be back to this property.

Booked a king with couch, etc. Sent message letting them know it would be a late check in.Arrived and was offered a two queen room. Showed them my reservation.. got a standard king room. No price discount. 4 night stay and had to consistently ask towels, make bed, trash pickup, etc. The staff was extremely friendly though.
