The location and easy access. The only problem was the amount.of sargassum

Friendly, helpful staff, good breakfast options at restaurant. Nice, clean pool. Provided laundry pods, coffee with creamer/sugar, bottled water daily. Decent distance from town but there are dining/grocery options nearby. Lots of kayaks for use although our stay was too windy for use.

Worn out, uncomfortable couch is an issue on rainy days spent indoors. Refrigerator didn't cool properly and maintenance just adjusted temp control which we'd already tried. Dinner menu at restaurant was VERY gourmet with limited offerings. Grout in shower had mildew although bathroom was clean overall. Arranged in advance for taxi through hotel to get to the ferry terminal during a rain storm vs. our golf cart - they came to get our bags and the taxi arrived 20 minutes late while we stood with our bags in the rain being attacked by mosquitoes. Taxi driver the hotel hired texted more than he looked at the road. Very bad timing by hotel and driver didn't reflect well on hotel. Taxi price was high as we booked through front desk.

Very nice resort, the staff were extremely helpful and nice. Our room was amazing.

It was the worst place I’ve stayed in 51 years of life. Ants all over every floor as soon as we entered the “just cleaned” rooms. Rooms flooded each night from windows and doors. Roof top Bar broken not useable. Pre paid beach dinner not available beach was too covered with Seaweed. Everything was dirty old even caution tape on steps

I did not like the food at the hotel restaurant. The ocean was full of sargassum (algae) which produced a pungent egg-like odor. The hotel did not do a good job of removing the sargassum which made it impossible to enjoy the beach. The room had a roach. We had to ask for towels and wash cloths two days in a row. We had to ask for toilet paper. Typically these things are replenished when the room is cleaned. And it didn’t appear that the hotel did anything to deter mosquitos. As soon as we opened our door, we. Were met with a plethora of mosquitos.

Beautiful boutique resort. Rooms are enormous. Loved the vibe. Food was delicious. Staff was extremely kind. Just not a fan of the beach

We had a lovely stay at the resort. The staff is very attentive, the grounds are immaculate. There were problems with sargasso while we were there, but the staff does a great job keeping up with it. We saw a coatimundi while there! The staff arranged a day out with a boat and we had a blast seeing the reefs with Jason. Steve was awesome and super kind to my daughter who is gluten free.I will definitely be back.

On arrival to the property we were greeted at the front, our bags were grabbed and we were welcomed with a cocktails and five minute massage. We had a “luxury penthouse” though the rooms were nice we had minor issues with the shower not working, they solved the issue by the next morning. We had our own balcony plunge pool which was a nice touch. Pool was very enjoyable, staff constantly checking if you need food or drinks, and will deliver directly to you. We had an issue with our first golf cart rental and was corrected by the morning. (Town is decently far from the hotel definitely recommend the golf cart). The food and drinks we had on property were good. We chose this property due to their so called “special rake” for the Sargassum and were disappointed when we saw the beach and water. They did offer free amenities like clear bottom kayaks and a sail boat ride, however the current was too difficult to do those activities in. Staff was accommodating with providing laundry soap as we just spent a few days in the jungle and desperately needed to wash our clothes, which we had a washer and drier in our room. 15-20 minutes from secret beach which was a welcomed change with crystal clear water. We do wish we were able to stay at least another day here as the property was beautiful and would’ve liked to attend one of their happy hours or rooftop seafood boils.

Very nice property. Really quiet weren’t any out of control children or adults for that matter. Great staff very friendly and helpful. Bed was perfect for my taste nice and firm slept like a baby.
