Nice staff.

Quiet

We stayed two nights and made the big mistake of leaving our prescription medications in the room when we checked out on 4/4. By the time we realized what we'd done, we were 8 hours away by car. We created a case for the lost items with Corporate on 4/6. On 4/7, we called the hotel directly, and they knew all about the case and confirmed they had the medications. We offered to pay for express shipping in order have them sent out quickly and were assured the manager would send them out on 4/8. On 4/11 when we hadn't received the delivery, we called and were told that the manager was the only person who could give us an update and she was out until 4/14. We called on 4/14 and were told that the package had been mailed but not express (because she had to pay for it herself) and that we should have it by 4/18. On 4/18, I called and asked for a tracking number. The manager couldn't provide it because it was in her other car. We received the package on 4/26 - with a postmark of 4/25. We absolutely accept that it was dumb on our part to leave the prescriptions, but the total lack of concern and accountability by the hotel staff was infuriating. This experience will keep us away from visits with Holiday Inn Express going forward.

The cleanliness

When we arrived on the property, we were given a king suite instead of two queen beds. We were told that a double bed room was not available, even though we had booked months in advance.

This hotel was very nice. The staff was very friendly and informative. Our room was clean and very comfortable. Some confusion about charging our credit card before we arrived when I chose to pay on arrival. Wasn’t able to get a clear answer who was responsible , Hotels .com or the Hotel.

Clean

Very good hotel, excellent service too. We had to check out late and that was not a problem at all. Breakfast is fine and service was excellent
