I had never stayed at the Jacksonville HIE. I usually stay ay the Sleep Inn. After checking in I find they do not accept cash, the tvs in every room were not working. I have attached a picture of my bathroom. There was a chemical bottle left on the floor and there were no towels or wash clothes. The front desk seemed unconcerned about it. She did go get ne towels. No apologies. And I had to ask if someone was going to get the chemicals left in the bathroom.The pool and hot tub were not up to correct chemicals. (Ikky).The beds were comfortable, breakfast was excellent.Oh, and a man in the elevator said it was his 5th stay there and it was always something not working there. I have stayed in other HIE and was pleased. Probably will stay at Sleep Inn next time in Jacksonville.

We have stayed here since this hotel was built in 2007. We will not stay here again. Dirty rooms, beds poorly made, 1 wash cloth, garbage in the hallways, office supplies sitting in the lobby, reception while kind and courteous were not dressed as IHG personnel normally are. Establishment is going downhill fast. I assume they have so much time before they are required to change the name. Do yourself a favor...drive farther into Jacksonville and find the Hampton Inn.

I arrived 6/23/25 and departed 6/24/25. Room 320. The carpets are very dirty, much of the tile grout is loose or missing, there was not a shower floor mat available when entering/existing shower, and carpet is hung up at the doorway from bath to hallway. The manager only wanted to tell me he was going to remodel. This is one of the worst Holiday Inn Express locations I have stayed.

This is a decent hotel. It is run down and a bit dirty, but rooms were decent. Good for a one night stay. Front desk and breakfast were very good.
