Holiday Inn Express & Suites Wichita Falls by IHG

It was for family reunion and it was nice to have the hot protein bar each morning along with the other offers that was a great variety.

The hotel is on a nicer side of town so, I booked it for my daughters birthday slumber party. We had a queen suite. $144..not too bad I thought. But, when I arrived to check in at 4, I heard the front desk tell anithrr couple that all of the rooms were still not clean...It wasn't a huge deal to us because we were just checking in & would be back later on. Also, I understand renovations but the hallways & elevator were gross. Dry wall & little pieces of grass & trash everywhere. Like no one had cleaned in a while. & the sofa bed was super thin & old. Also, the girls wanted to watch a movie but, it was an old outdated TV. We even tried hooking up a PS5 but there was no way to change the input. I definitely wouldn't pay $144 for that again.

The front desk gentleman was very rude, just stared at us to talk first. Didn’t welcome us or ask how can I help you. He checked us in and that’s about it. Didn’t tell us about the amenities, what time breakfast was.

The staff was amazing and so nice, could not have asked for better customer service. Only thing I was shocked and disappointed about was construction at motel-there was nothing on the description about construction going on when booking, and just general oldness of it. It did not fit the high rating on Expedia and definitely not the cost of the room. I feel it should have been about 40% lower than what I was charged. For the condition of the morel.

They are in the middle of the remodeling.

This is a run down and absolutely disgusting hotel. Keep driving. The entire hotel smelled gross, our room was pungent and infested with mold, the walls and ceiling were falling apart. The grout in the bathroom was black. The elevator reeked of old stains and sweaty workers. We would have left if it wasn’t our third stop and only room we could find for the night. Left after 4 hours of restless sleep.

Very dirty everywhere! Even when I pointed out the filth hanging from the furniture above the breakfast bar, they only partially wiped half the section. Really bad management and lazy workers hanging around lobby for hours. STAY AWAY!
