Despite being g an older property, it is nicely maintained. The food in the restaurants were tasty, but the buffets were only about average. The staff , for the most part, were friendly and accommodating. The room, however, had bedbugs, which really put a damper on things. We had to switch rooms.

Very bad experience, no proper rooms, old building, not good service, etc. I expected basic comfort, cleanliness, and professionalism — none of which were delivered. I do not recommend this hotel and would strongly advise future guests to consider other options.

If you want to smoke any tobacco, don't come here. No smoking signs are everywhere. The only designated smoking area is at the front parking lot.

This is a serious hygiene concern and a failure to meet the standards I expect from a property affiliated with the Hyatt Inclusive Collection and Hyatt Hotels Corporation. Reservation details • Guest name: • Reservation number: Reference code 901303726 • Check-in date: Sun, Nov 23, 2025 • Check-out date: Fri, Nov 28, 2025 • Room number: 223 Summary of the incident Upon entering my room on Sunday, Nov 23, 2024, I was too exhausted to check the room. However, on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at 1:00 AM, due to the room freezing, I was woken up to discover the bed linens in a disgusting, unsanitary condition (see attached photos). The white down comforter was heavily stained, soiled, with visible bodily fluids/mold/dirt. These images clearly show the condition, making the room unusable and unsafe from a health and comfort standpoint.

Avoid this hotel at all cost, but he had avoided Panama. The hotel was outdated dirty disgusting one room completely flooded and when the AC guy fixed it, he broke personal items and just said oops. There’s no effort to communicate in your native language, despite trying to communicate with them and theirs the pool smelled like and the water was dirty. The food was disgusting and beyond basic the chicken Parm was basically a chicken nugget with cheese and sauce on it.

While I was nervous about our stay because of the mixed reviews, I am so glad we went for it. Everything was excellent! I do agree with some of the reviews as far as the rooms needing to be freshened up a little but it the room was clean and comfortable. It truly did not take anything away from the trip. There were lots of details that impressed us and hospitality was top notch.

The resort is beautiful and well-kept on the outside, but some of the rooms—especially on the first floor—feel outdated and have an unpleasant odor. I’d recommend requesting a higher-floor room for a better experience. Also, be cautious when it rains; the floors can get very slippery.

No more than a 2 star. Crockpot buffet was underwhelming, food over cooked and bland. French restaurant was the best, consistent and very tasty. Italian was inconsistent, and the wait was very long, 90 minutes to get our food one night. The ocean side restaurant was good one night and terrible two nights later, we ordered the exact same thing and it was totally different. Service at the resort was hit and mostly miss, unless you had to collect your coupons from the big upsell desk across from the maid check in area. Rooms were ok, not as bad as other reviews, however, we got bed bugs our last night, so that was unfortunate! 1 bar tender was fabulous, the rest, well they clearly didn't love their job, both poolside and in the main bar. One day the soccer game on their phone took precedent to the line of people at the pool bar. I would not recommend this resort unfortunately.

If you go to this resort download hidden camera on your phone.Prior to leaving, when you get to your room, check it. It detected a camera and a voice Detector. Then, I went to my friend's room same thing. With the voice detector it apparently heard my alarm go off on my phone. An hour later, I checked both rooms and it didn't come back on. I check daily until I left. Other than that, food was good resort was nice. The beach was terrible and there was no entertainment at the pools or at night. Except for a d j playing in the lobby.

Upon arrival at Dreams, we checked in and requested an upgrade to Preferred so we could access the adults-only pool. The upgrade was $50 per person per day, which added up to $700 for both of us over seven days. After checking in, we went to our room and immediately noticed several issues. The door would not close unless slammed, the lock was broken, and the door itself was warped. The balcony door was also broken and would not lock. On top of that, the room phone did not work. These may seem like small inconveniences, but they already set our experience back. This is where I strongly recommend that you do not stay at this property. At check-in, we were told to go to the front desk to activate a “key” for discounts. Our reservation had mentioned resort coupons, so we assumed this was related. It was not. Instead, Hyatt pulled us into a room for 45 minutes to pitch their credit cards. We left extremely frustrated. Other guests told us they were offered a 90-minute presentation in exchange for a free massage, but we were not given that option. Regardless, who wants to be pressured into a sales pitch while on vacation? Overall, this was not the experience we had hoped for. The resort staff, bartenders, and housekeeping team were wonderful and very kind, but the management practices left us disappointed. Unless you are already a Hyatt member, I do not recommend this hotel. Be prepared for constant upselling and money haggling that takes away from the relaxation you came for.
