Dreams Playa Bonita Panama - All Inclusive

The resort grounds were very well maintained. Housekeeping staff was topnotch. The entertainment staff was limited to the general pool. The food was good but we were hoping for Panamanian options or a special buffet of dishes. VIP reservation staff was outstanding: special shout-out to Maried! Josef at the Panamazing tour desk set us up with some awesome tours. Even the expected (rainforest, duh) torrential downpour couldn't dampen our excitement of seeing Sloths, White-faced Capuchin monkeys and Neotropical River Otters.

The resort in clean, but older... we were fine with it. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. The breakfast and lunch options left a little to be desired. At Barefoot Grill, they had no French fries, but they did have burgers and hotdogs only. All of the staff are amazing. Loved seeing the sea turtles released back into the wild. Got to see a family of sloth in the forest behind the resort. To me the wildlife was worth the entire trip. It's about 25 minutes to downtown Panama City. We enjoyed our time there.

Everything was amazing! Best of all we had the best bartender ever! Zanceliano you are awesome! We also had some great services at restaurant, Henry, Martin and Eduardo were excellent hosts 😀

My experience at Dreams playa Bonita was amazing the restaurant, the staff, entertainment was a breath of fresh air I would recommend and definitely go back . I went by myself I want to go back with someone

experienced way too many variables in my room to consider it a good stay. I cannot consider the hotel as a revisit they just have to pay attention to detail and take cleanliness seriously

My wife and I went to this location for our honeymoon. It was fantastic, the staff is lovely and kind. The drinks are great, the food is between fine and good. The staff understands english well. The rooms are cleaned at least once a day, sometimes 2. The 2 restaurants a la carte are immaculate. But what made it really outstanding was the 10$ jungle tour around the hotel. The guide, Alexander is such a dedicated individual. His passion for the forest, fauna and the animal is incredible. Stopping every steps to show us something new. The knowledge this guy has in insane. He went above and beyond, he showed us animals, insects and plants that i never knew existed. He even stopped and showed us mushrooms and took pictures of them like he's holding his own repertoire. He really cares about the jungle and it showed. He's like the Panama Steve Irwin. The grill in front of the beach is so good ! Surprisingly the best burgers I had in a long time. The place is great, the activities are fantastic and the lobby's ambiance changes 100% from day time to night time. The entertainment team is incredible. Awesome place. I really recommend.

A better alternative from Jamaica. A hidden gem. We made the best of this last minute change! We were booked for Jamaica but the hurricane happened and had to change. We had two option and the group picked Panama. No regrets! This is a grown, classy and sexy resort. Not ratchet or raunchy mess. We saw some negative comments but we went anyway and I must say it's all in what you make it to be and we absolutely enjoyed! We did excursions and the staff help us in our decisions and patiently planned them out for the right days. The excursion staff was AWESOME! We took Uber into the old city and to a Jamaica restaurant from TikTok that was great! And we went to another place in town for some amazing seafood. Panama is a FOODIE paradise. Back to the resort...The entertainment was good and cultural. I wish they had more entertainment in the day and past 10:30 pm The night club was great because my group made it great by giving the dj requests and other guests joined by add song to write in list. Lol otherwise it would have been dry and boring. The staff here were wonderful!! Respectful, kind, and attentive. I saw someone say the room are dated but I realized the room are all oceanview so the saltwater affects things so it seems dated with 8 months of rainy season and saltwater things happen. I give the room a 4-star overall. A splash is paint on the balcony furniture and light switch panels was needed. The room was nice for the time we were in there. Bathroom amenities were very good! Love it! And bathroom was very pretty too and very spacious! We didn't stay in the room much. Beds were comfortable!!! Slept great at night. Bathroom was so nice as well. Food was alright overall some days were awesome and somedays were okay. I loved the freah fruit selection and the natural friut and veggie juices in the morning!! Food can be better at Oceania restaurant the least favorite overall, not good. My whole group was anticipating it and was let down! The French and Italian restaurant was great! My only critique is extended food times for the day time restaurant by the pool, more seafood on the lunch/dinner menu ( shrimp, lobster, octopus, squid, etc.) and an omelet station for breakfast and rotate the buffet breakfast menu some days. Also highlight the other activities available to guest. I noticed some at the last minute that I never knew was there. Ugh Great bar and drinks! Cool place to take lots of photos. Great beach access. Things shutdown at 1am. But you need your rest for the early excursions or and amazing walk on the beach early in the morning before breakfast.

Got a massage from Luz in the Spa. She did an excellent job, massage was so relaxing I actually fell asleep on the table! Definitely recommend

Was a great experience, definitely would recommend staying here. Stayed in a Preferred Club room and it was phenomenal. Room was clean, view was amazing, preferred lounge was cozy, great drinks. The public areas are always clean and the greenery is out of this world on property! Very close by there is also a great spot to go for a morning run! Would definitely recommend staying here but make sure you book preferred club!
