"Overpriced"

Staff are great -basically the only bright spot. It is well located/close to a lot of attractions. Valet parking super convenient Rooms are decent sized, clean and quiet but definitely dated and outside of the bathroom look cheap for the price. Chairs are really uncomfortable. Beds are comfortable but I’d bring your pillows as the ones they have are flat. Also I booked an ocean view with balcony and I got a partial ocean view with an unusable ledge. Was told I could have a 2pm checkout when I checked in, then 3 days later was told I had to be out earlier. WiFi was out for one whole evening/night. Room service menu very limited. Not worth the money/ definitely overpriced.

"A Silversun Experience"

When the Los Angeles-based Silversun Pickups announced they were doing a gig in Monterey there was only one place to stay: Intercontinental The Clement on Cannery Row. First-class accommodation. Great room. Awesome breakfast (highly recommend the French toast). Attentive staff. And an awesome concert to complete the trip!

"Perfect hotel for perfect stay"

My Lady and I have stayed at many luxury hotels and The Intercontinental Monterey beats them by miles. First off the staff is incredibly friendly, Joseph checked us in and clearly loves his job because he was awesome. The smell of this hotel is amazing, picture that expensive candle you always hesitated to burn. When Joseph was checking us in and said “view & fireplace” I was standing there in a grateful shock because I haven’t had a fireplace in my room before. The ambiance is spectacular with views and located in the most perfect setting, minutes from the aquarium and the costal walk. Not that this matters much but I have to say the Breakfast here at the C was VERY cost friendly and HUGE, also Valet was the cheapest I’ve ever had at $45
