The staff members Chris and Heather were very polite and handled the situation very well.

I booked a stay for 2 nights, during a city tournament of all times! Upon arrival I was given keys for a Queen smoking room. I booked a King Suite! I went up, looked at the room and came back down to the desk. Chris and Heather were there and they both said that I was in the wrong room. They were full and my room had been given away. The onsite manager "Becky" had pulled out the reservations for the evening, and this is all they knew. I did not stay there and proceeded to find a different motel for 2 nights for more than 2x the price. I called the property the next day and the manager (I use that term lightly) "Becky" said (very nasty) that, and I quote"Booking.com sent it to me that way" LIAR LIAR PANTS ON FIRE! I call Choice Hotels only to discover that corporate can see the key strokes of who changed the reservation at the motel level. "Becky" had changed my reservation not once but 2 times! And LIED to me about it, she was very rude and non-apologetic on the phone to me, great customer service hmmmm? She tried blaming it on Booking.com. I got the phone number for the regional and starting calling,,,,,,Choice Hotels, regional Lawrence, Booking.com. Lawrence the regional made some calls and got to the bottom of it. NOT ONLY DID "BECKY" CAUSE ME ISSUES WITH HAVING TO FIND ANOTHER MOTEL, BUT ALSO THE COST INCURRED FROM THE OTHER MOTEL I HAD TO STAY IN. I WILL NEVER STAY AT THIS MOTEL AGAIN WHILE SHE IS STILL EMPLOYED THERE. I will also be putting this review out on google etc. Keep in mind this does not reflect on the Hotel, only on this 1 person. The other 2 employees Chris and Heather did an amazing job and were very polite in this situation (shout out to them for good customer service ) Still not quite sure what "Beckys" motivation was for her actions but she is going to drag this property down around her. The staff was extremely nice. Very helpful and explained all the the things they offered. The rooms were plenty big and it was nice and quiet.

There things jn room that didn't work and the bed just didn't seem very big and was not comfortable. It has kitchenettes in rooms and our refrigerator didn't work and for being wintertime we had aunts in our room and only 2 pillows and no big or heavy blanket on bed.

The only person I worked with was a gentleman named Chris. He was exceptional at customer service and just a good human being. He is diligent and attentive to detail. Not only did I get to see my room to ensure it was to my expectations, but I was treated like family and not just a guest. The facility was clean, my room was large, everything in the room worked, and unlike a recent hotel stay in iowa falls- no one tried breaking into my room while I slept.

When I move in, the room looks like doesn’t have people in for a while, and my bed had big, no front desk available, and the dryer was broken.NO recommendation.

The clerk was nice at checkin but in the room the air conditioning was not working (was running but not cold - was told to open a window). Would recommend updating air conditoning or installing fan - heat was unbearable!!!

Checked in about 8pm on 6/20/25 when I got to my room the room was so hot and muggy. I called front desk from the room but the phone did not work well went down to talk to the front desk person but he was not there so I called he stated that it was just because it was extremely hot and humid outside and that the room should cool once the temps dropped. I put the ac on 60 and left for a few hours when I got back the room was still extremely warm and muggy we checked and the compressor wasn’t kicking on so we grabbed our things and checked out when I talked to front seat person and told him we were checking out he had no compassion for our issue.

The kitchenette was amazing, I didn’t like they did not have a pool even though one was advertised before booking.
