Walls are very thin

I was looking forward to staying here for a family event. For ~200$ a night, I was at least expecting a decent stay. We stayed in room 304. Upon entering, noted a good amount of black hairs on top of the comforters. Good thing we brought extra blankets so our newborns didn't have to touch the linens. One of the beds had a very deep central depression on the mattress; had a hard time sleeping on it as I gave the good bed to my elderly mother. The worst part was there was no canopy over the main entrance. Lousiana ALWAYS has rain so I'm surprised it was missing. My mother with a bad knee and my newborn twins had to go through the rain to get to the car. Needless to say, we ended up with lots of wet clothes. I've stayed in better hotels in third world countries. They probably cater to strong, healthy workers in the area, but geez!

Hotel recently up dated after the hurricane. price was high for the services offered. Few restaurants close by.

Front desk clerk was very nice and wanted to be sure we had everything we needed I was even able to request a Keurig for my spacious room.

Location was convenient to the venue. The staff was awesome and the room was very clean. I will stay there again if the occasion arises.

Room were very clean and comfy! Each room has a full size fridge, microwave, stove, dishwasher, coffee pot, utensils, plates, and cookware were provided. On the other hand my first room’s carpet was saturated with water from a leaking air conditioner. Once I notified the staff I was given a new room with no problems. The location was also excellent and parking was safe. The staff were very nice and friendly and the hotel had lots of snacks and supplies for guest to purchase. I would definitely stay again when traveling to Lake Charles
