Riviera Oaks Resort

Everything was pleasant.

Some things inside unit were not cleaned by staff. Old Coffee in coffee maker, leftover items from previous guests in bedroom cabinet and holes on spare bed sheets.

The place we stayed was very roomy, it had 2 separate bedrooms on opposite sides of the living area. The beds were comfortable, the living room was big & the kitchen was just right!! As long liked having 2 balconies.

You had to drive curvy roads to get to town or casino which wasn't very closr.

Nice quiet location and generously sized apt. Price was great.

Although tidy and clean, apt. definitely needs some updating to furnishings/overall interior.

Loved the size of the suite.

We could have stayed to swim or use the pool in the morning. I wish I would have known that sooner.

We were rejected by the very rude staff upon arrival because of having an emotional support dog, but this was only after she charged the 200 dollar deposit. After requesting my refund, they became more rude and disrespectful. The guy at the front desk even laughed when I was being told that was not going to happen because the payment went to a second party. It was a very stressful and embarrassing situation. Especially because there were guests there with a big dog,which was clearly not a service dog, so the situation felt very much targeted to our family. The manager Alicia shults wasn't helpful at all. She gave me a paper where she requested the cancelation and refund to booking.com. but the refund never came. I then contacted booking.com. They said that Alicia shults never sent in that request. Which only means to me that they were trying to keep the payment specifically since I received this review request for our stay. I then had to spend a lot of time going back and forth with booking.com so they could investigate and finally resolve the situation and refund the money. Overall horrible experience!
