Jabberwock Inn

Great location for Monterey activities. Beautiful view of the Bay. Really nice hosts. Enjoyed hors d’oeuvre, wine, cookies and breakfast - great variety.

I absolutely love this magical place. The rooms are unique, the breakfast superb, and the amenities and staff go above and beyond anyplace I have ever stayed. Big benefit to be able to walk down to restaurants, cannery row, and the aquarium.

The staff was excellent and the brunch too! We hope to return next year.

Outstanding service, amazing food, nice wine social. However room/bathroom amenities subpar for price. Towels old, rough, dingy. Bed and pillows uncomfortable. Close proximity to Carmel, 17 mile drive, Cannery Row and Fisherman’s Wharf.

In the interest of full disclosure, I have never stayed at a bed-and-breakfast until this experience. That said, I cannot imagine better facilities and service than we had and received at the Jabberwock Inn. The attention to detail in all aspects of the Inn is astounding, from the landscaping, to the cleanliness, to the amenities, to the furniture and accents, to the charming and unique Lewis Carroll touches. The staff is exceptional as well. Upon our arrival, we were greeted and given a tour by a wonderful hostess/manager, who also makes dinner suggestions and even reservations at local restaurants for the guests. The Inn also provides a delicious afternoon snack of cheeses, fruit, wine, etc. And both the presentation and the taste of the breakfast items were amazing. We only stayed 2 nights at the Jabberwock, but all of our family of 4 wished it had been more. I am very much looking forward to planning another, longer vacation to explore the area more fully, and I will definitely stay at the Jabberwock.

Loved Jabberwock. Staff, managers very helpful and attentive. Loved the bocce court. Nice space in the cottage room. Just a little walk up from Cannery Row. Easy to get around.

Perfect in every way; even had off-street parking. We will return.
