Rosemount Hotel

No heating, no food, no kettle, very over priced.

Hotel, staff and room were very nice, the room was a mite cold but other than that everything was fine and we enjoyed our stay. Would we come back to the same hotel, well yes we would. The reason we were at Pitlochry was to visit the Festival Theatre and the show, The Sound Of Music, was excellent and well worth the visit.

Lovely stay at the Rosemount hotel in Pitlochry for some November hikes in the Cairngorns. The staff were lovely, in particular Phie was very friendly and attentive for all our breakfast servings. Delicious and hearty breakfast every morning with decent variety. The room was very cosy with just enough space to dry our wet hiking clothes when we needed. The water pressure in the shower was poor but a good excuse to have a decadent bubble bath!

Have stayed here several times and never disappoints. Hotel is spotless and staff friendly, rooms are lovely too. Ideally located yet nice and quiet, easy access to all facilities in Pitlochry and a great base to explore from too. Definitely recommend.

We have stayed here numerous times. The room was spacious and the bed real comfortable. Rooms are well decorated and very clean. There is a big breakfast choose and it sets you up for the day. The Rosemount is in a lovely quiet location with great views over the top of the town towards the hills and mountains. It’s only a 5 minute walk down into the town. -Once again Ann and Keith made us and our dog Harris feel very welcome. When visiting Pitlochry this is our chosen place to stay and I’d 100% recommend it.

An very enjoyable stay overall. The hotel is an very convenient location with only a 10 min walk to town centre. The room was spacious and clean and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. Phie, who was serving breakfast, was lovely and made sure we had everything we needed.

Hotel welcome excellent. The room very clean if very small. The soundproofing is non existent and made for a very sleep deprived night. The breakfast was very good. Very nicely appointed in Pitlochry comfortable walking distance to the village. If you want an evening meal book in advance or there are plenty of nice places nearby

Check in was smooth. The Lady (owner_ was very sweet and courteous. Our rooms were on the next level and we were pleasantly surprised with their assistance with our luggage. Rooms were cute with fantastic views. Breakfast was above average and beautifully laid as per your pre-selection from a limited menu. Over all, we loved Pitlochry and Rosemount.

We have stayed here several times and the service and accommodation were very good. It is a shame that the staffing levels and the general feel of the hotel are quite low, this stay. The bar closed at 8.30. The food was reasonable but not hot. We were staying during a busy time for the town and felt that Rosemount was 'out of the loop'. The first year we stayed, for the same event. There was a buzz within the hotel,hot chocolate by the fire and a warm welcome were available. Unfortunately this hasn't happened for a few years. I understand the effects of the pandemic but feel the hotel has 'given up' We had no complaints about the rooms or cleanliness of the hotel.

Friendly hotel with character, decent food, nice and clean, would stay again if in Pitlochry. Good base for exploring all the nearby attractions. …………………………..,,,….,………,,.,…,,,,,……………………………..,,,,…………………………..,,,,,………………………….,
