Sawasdee Village

The staff at this hotel are exceptionally pleasant. Special acknowledgements to two of the friendliest and welcoming workers named K2 and Boy.

We stayed in a two story villa. It was very spacious and well appointed. There was a jacuzzi that led out to a dipping pool which then led out to a pool that was for villa guests only. All of the staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. The breakfast buffet was very good. There are many restaurants in walking distance. To go to the beach the hotel offers an hourly shuttle to from but it is walkable from the hotel.

Great breakfast, friendly staff. My child enjoyed the pool and I enjoyed the fitness center. We took a cooking clsss there that was fantastic. Chef Jan was great!

Beautiful hotel, excellent staff, incredible drinks and great breakfast. The dinner was actually a bit bland, but I'm guessing we where just unlucky. We are definitly coming back, and I will definitly recommend this hotel to others.

Like everything on life, the people we met and interact with make all the difference. Here was no different. The staff are amazing, friendly, helpful, happy. Lots of fun.

Very nice and clean hotel, staff was very friendly and helpful. There were multiple pools, so the pool areas never got too busy, of course we went during the rainy season so not sure what the busy season looks like.

There are certainly things one could quibble with if one wanted to (so-so food, old TV’s, rooms that aren’t that well sound-proofed) but that would be to miss the point. People come here for the service and for the sheer theatricality of the resort, both of which are fabulous. The area around may not be great, but that’s most of Phuket. The resort is terrific and I would go back for the swimming pool alone.
