Staybridge Suites Wilmington - Brandywine Valley by IHG

Absolutely terrible, untrained and unprofessional staff at the Front Desk. Took an hour to get into my room, including five trips upstairs and back down because the keys did not work. Received a bill that I shouldn’t have, so went to complain to the front desk and the receptionist threw the bill at me across the desk. So if you don’t want to get a headache dealing with unprofessional people just don’t stay here. There’s a lot of nice hotels all around. The hallway carpet smells very bad.

The front desk staff person whose first name is Asia, like the continent, was incredibly helpful and good humored with the technology problem I was having getting an internet connection. She even contacted technology support for assistance and got my issue resolved. Throughout the frustrating problem she never lost her patience and kept checking back in with me to make sure everything was still going well. I was impressed with her demeanor throughout my contact with her. Thank you Asia.

This quaint hotel is nicely decorated, and clean. It sets back and away from the busy area so you can go shop or dine but return to quietness. On the evening of arrival, the hotel hosted a lovely social event with light refreshments for guests. From the front desk staff to kitchen personnel-everyone was great! So appreciated their kind and helpful nature. ..even the guests were friendly. Would definitely rebook here when in the area.

Very friendly front desk staff, clean hotel. Breakfast was better then most these days at hotels with a variety of hot and cold option and in weekends till 10:30am. Close to shopping centers with great stores. Great for families because of the suites.

We stayed just one night to rest our heads for a day trip. The breakfast was great in the morning. Your typical options but everything was hot and ready. The lady was always around to help and provided us a bag so we can take things to go. The front door of the room wasn't sealed for noise. so we heard footsteps, talking, and anything happening in the hallways. It's a good thing we had a second bedroom. The room had everything we needed to create a meal, but we ordered out. It was nice to have plates, utensils and actual glasses to have with our meal. Service around 7pm came to ask if we needed our garbage taken out which is a nice touch. This way our room wasn't smelling with food from eating. We did smell others who were cooking, good thing it smelled nice.

Great stay! Great breakfast.

The location and the infrastructure were both equally bad. The thru traffic was horrible.

All the staff were very nice and provided great customer service!!

The rooms were spacious and incredibly comfortable. The place is quiet. The breakfast was delicious and the Tuesday Wednesday happy hour nice and fun and the staff incredibly courteous and helpful.
