Check-in time is from 14:00-15:00 on Sundays. Check-out time is 11.00. The hotel kindly requests that you settle your bill before 10:00. All major credit and debit cards can be used, except American Express and Diners. Checks are accepted only to the value of a Bankers Card. The hotel regrets that they cannot accept personal checks over the Bankers Card limit without prior arrangement. Please note parking is limited and the property is unable to reserve parking spaces. There is a public car park 5 minutes from the hotel, and the property will reimburse your parking fees on presentation of your car park ticket if you are unable to park within the on-site car park. A deposit may be required at the property.

View, breakfast and room all good. Pool too cold, mentions after a first ten minute swim. Didn’t use second day too cold. Will be booking again next year.

It is well situated. Sadly the weather was dreadful

The refurbishment has been done on the cheap. Our room had this unattractive scaffolding outside which was very disappointing. The hotel wasn’t full. We could have been given another room. It felt like an old age home!

We have been enjoying visits to the Grand for many years now and, as ever, we had a wonderful time during our recent stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the hotel itself is characterful with elegant decor and lovely views, particularly from the light and airy conservatory. The staff are always friendly and helpful, the food delicious and we love the fact that the town and beach are a short stroll away and we can go on beautiful hikes in any direction, exploring the coast and hills. All in all, we hope to be back soon!
