Staff were brilliant and nothing was too much trouble. Kitchen had everything you need and shop just down the road.

More showers would be good but didn't have an issue with only 2.

Great location right in town with a fabulous view of the bay. We had our own room.

Beds were uncomfortable.

Cheap, clean, and convenient location. Nice lounge for relaxing in. Seems a well run place. Helpful young lad on check-in. Bit of a grumpy manager tho, he could do with a sprinking more hebridean warmth and a stress management course.

Well set out kitchen but poor ventilation when people cooking, or were folk just not opening windows. We avoided it as we didn't want to smell like a sausage all day. Some mingers didn't clean up after themselves, and curry stained tea towels on worktops and dirty dishes were left in sink the next morning. Pot luck if you get nice quiet sleeping companions in the dorms, I was fortunate, my husband was not....he had to listen to loud snoring sausage eating man both nights.....hey ho, that's hostels! 😆 I still definitely recommend this place.

Pas la plus belle des HI mais fait son job pour une nuit !
