InTown Suites Extended Stay Newport News VA - City Center

I liked it had the cheapest price for a Saturday-Monday stay. I Also enjoyed how stiff the bed was for my back. It was comfortable. The toilet however was stained and during my stay we had no towels whatsoever. Called the front desk and asked for some and was told to call back Monday when the front office was open and then was subsequently hung up on. There also was no iron which I found personally odd

I loved the layout of the room.inviting...butthere wss no toilet paper in the bathroom. The bed was not as comfortable as I had hoped. Customer Service was great! I left a few items especially my mecication and it was kept for me until got there the next day Thank you!

The rooms were small and it was a hassle checking in. I remade the bed with all my own blankets and did not touch the floor. Everything felt dirty. The whole place smelled like smoke despite me booking a non-smoking room. The pictures are not representative of what you are actually going to get. I will never stay here again.

When i went to check in, they said they were fully booked so they sent me to their sister hotel. So then i drove there, then they didn’t have my room. Mind you i booked this reservation a month before. So then they call back to the hotel i just came from and then they said they’d have to give me a king room instead. Which was fine, i just needed somewhere to stay after traveling 4 hours there. Then the next day follows and everything seems great until close to 10 at night. Then i went to go back to my room, my key wouldn’t work. It had just worked when i left around 730. So i had to call their on campus person which actually wasn’t on the campus of the hotel. I had to sit in the empty lobby for Over a half hour waiting for her to get there. Come to find out they deactivated my room key because they said they didn’t get payment for that night. I reserved this room for 2 nights from the beginning when i booked it a month ago. And i had checked my account and they had pulled the money for both nights. So why they deactivated my key i have no clue. It was definitely frustrating when all i wanted to do was go to my room and relax but instead had to wait in the lobby in the middle of the night.

This was a nice clean hotel, however, it lacked in basic amenities such as extra toilet paper, new bar of soap, and hand towels.

The hotel was remodeled and was clean. It was also conveniently close to many places (restaurants, grocery stores, shops). However, the bed was uncomfortable and the tub was cracked. Basic things like hangers were not even in the room. The hotel staff was courteus but would not allow me to add my sister to the room. I would only return here for the convenience.

Good location, easily accessible, friendly and very helpful staff.

horrible. the place was dirty and smelled like rotten crabs. i bought air freshener and febreeze just to stand the smell

Carpet smells. No staff available on Sunday to assist you.

I have no complaints for this place. It was up to date, clean, and a friendly staff. Great value for your buck. They have weekly prices.
