The Hammocks at Marathon

It was very frustrating that during our cumulative total of eight days stay, seven nights, the housekeeping plan was to only clean our room one time and it was on the seventh night. When we asked about this three days in, they said OK we can probably fit in one cleaning for you midway through your stay but that will be the only one, if you desire any additional cleanings that will be $150 each. When they cleaned the room, I would hardly call it clean. That was a little bit frustrating. Beyond that, we thoroughly enjoyed the property and our time at this particular Bluegreen resort.

Pamela, director of activities is awesome! My little son enjoyed painting :) Thanks for all you did...They have plenty of activities for kids. Nice place, nice room, nice neighborhood. Great experience!!!

Very clean, convenient and friendly helpful staff.

Check in was quick. We stopped on our way down to Key West but the room wasn't ready, it was about 2pm. We were fine with that we told them we would be back late. We got back about 11:30pm. Check in was quick but the gentleman working had just started his ahift but not trying to be mean he smelled horrible. It was hard to stand there and sign the paperwork. The room is beautiful !!!! Clean and free bag of popcorn. TV in bedroom keeps going out. There is no storm outside but the inclement weather sign keeps coming on....ugh. Wanted to watch tv and relax before to sleep.

Beautiful property-new clean room-best property in Marathon for the price. Definitely will return next year.

Loved the spacious apartment & balcony, nice big beach towels, pool & hot tub were lovely, enjoyed Barnacle Barney's mostly though food choices a little limited. Would've been nice to be able to borrow beach chairs & umbrella for Sombrero. We like having double sinks in the bathroom but we're spoiled :-) Bed was very comfortable. Great location in Marathon -- we had a wonderful vacation.

I liked that it was quiet and set back from the highway. Felt very secure. Staff were friendly and supportive. The kitchen was small but we only cooked breakfast. Could have used a Keurig. Lobby coffee ran out fast! MaryJo at Barnacle Barney’s and Pamela the activities director were outstanding

The seaweed odor at the Tiki Bar was overwhelming. There really wasnt anything the staff could do about it
