The Hammocks at Marathon

I found this AMAZING Bluegreen Resort from Hotels.com! My reservations were incorrect my confirmation came back as only a one night stay but, it was supposed to be for two nights. Unfortunately, Hotels.com wasn't able to correct it for me nor could the resort so, I logged back into Hotels.com and chose another night and I am so glad that I did. Now I had two reservations for two different rooms. I was communicating with Jason from Bluegreen and he assured me that it would be a smooth transition. Our check-in was perfect the resort is Beautiful and so Clean! The staff is so very friendly and helpful no matter whom you speak too. Our first room was a 1 room suite and it was Gorgeous!! It was so big I didn't know what to do with myself..lol The second day we had to check out and check into our different room. Jason was Amazing he had us pack up just our belonging and to leave anything in the fridge. He had housekeeping move all of our belongings to our second room so, we could go about our day and it went off without a hitch. They called me when our new room was ready and when we checked back in Jason upgraded us to a Bayview balcony room. It was so Beautiful to sit out on the patio to watch the sunrise. The Tiki Hut on-site is so much fun and the food was delicious. We had so much fun that my fiance' kept thanking me for booking this birthday vacation. I had the most Amazing Birthday Vacation Ever! Thank you to Hotels.com and of course Jason at Bluegreen Resort!!!

My husband and I stayed here in our Honeymoon. We had a great experience. If you are looking to stay at a hotel in the Keys on a budget then look no farther. The room we has was much larger and nicer than expected. The pool was clean and easy to get to, and everyone at the front desk was very polite and willing to offer ideas and help book things to do. The Tiki Bar by the pool was nice, however they did not have a full liquor licence. The food was great and they had live music and events on select nights. They do not have daily maid service so you might have to clean up after yourself, however you can ask for fresh towels at any time at the front desk. They also did not have a breakfast, but there was a kitchenette and a full size fridge in the room. They also had gas grills outside for guests to use.

We loved the spacious room/apartment. The facility is very clean and well furnished. We also loved the Tiki Bar.

We were upgraded at no extra charge. Very friendly staff.

We were only at the Hammocks Resort for two nights but we loved our room and the view from our balcony was fabulous! Room was so well stocked for cooking and etc...as it was a short stay, we ate at restaurants but could definitely see ourselves staying long term and living like locals. Bed was so comfortable. Sombrero beach nearby was lovely. We loved our pool area and especially loved watching as fishing boats docked and fed the pelicans. Great show !

We were wonderfully surprised with every aspect of our stay at Hammocks. The room was incredibly spacious. All rooms have their own balcony. The pool, hot tub, and pool area were magnificent overlooking the Gulf. The tiki bar at the pool was an added bonus. In addition to the kitchen, the room included almost everything you could think of needing - not only dishes, pots and pans, but detergent, laundry baskets and a host of other practical items. The front desk also had complimentary toiletries in case you forgot to pack something which seems to be a rarity these days. Hotel was conveniently located at the southern end of Marathon with several restaurants within walking distance. Overall, loved it! We'll be staying here again.

Our room was immaculate! The king suite has so much room and quite a bargain for the price! The Tiki bar is fun although you don’t see complete sunset. Lighthouse Grill is walking distance and an exquisite meal! Entertainment was excellent, too!

Very clean and spacious room. Have a nice restaurant out on the ocean. Location is good and close to a nice beach. Check in is a little odd. They will not allow you to check in any earlier than 4pm (every hotel we have stayed at on our trip let us check in at anytime with no extra cost) and check out is earlier than any other hotel in the area 10am.

Hotel was nice and was very comfortable, enjoyed the tiki bar especially at sundown when they shoot off a Canon and give everyone a free shot to toast. The only negative is if you spend more than one day , housekeeping does not clean the room or restock the towels or supplies.

We stayed here on our way to Key West. Check in was a breeze and the staff did a great job with directions to local attractions. The room was modern. The pool and hot tub were clean and well maintained. There was also a nice tiki bar in the pool area. Staff was friendly and even loaned us towels for the beach.
