Entrance and everything looks good. Road toward the hotel is really bad, especially the parking bay. Hotel looks good on the outside, room is basic, but I guess you get what you pay for. Kettle wasn't working, said will replace but wasn't replaced. Oh yes.. if u have a lot of luggage or heavy luggage, the stairs is a killer!! no lift. Overall, not a bad stay with these minor issues.
Always great Hotel with nice owners
We found the Ikaros has a friendly, family feel to it. When we came back after midnight from a ferry-trip that was two hours delayed, having left our key at the desk, the staff on duty was most helpful.
Pro: Central location not far from Thira and cheap price Cons: very basic facilities: you get what you paid for. (1) bathroom is very tiny and gets very dirty with just 1 shower as water goes everywhere. (2) Insects might come up from the water-hole on the floor. (3) Only single beds available. (4) We got a nice terrace although overlooking the house-next-door's entrance - no privacy. (5) Line beds old with holes although clean. (6) Although they say they do airport transfers it did not happen with us - I recognise we landed very early at 6am, but would have been nice to know
