Hotel Ipanema

The pool was great for swimming and chilling, I had it to myself first thing in the morning and it was a delight. The view from our room and the rooftop was exceptional, we were able to look directly at the see and the famous beaches below and also look up into the hills. Access to the famous beaches, the Gondola and a handful of restaurants and a great coffee house, plus supermarkets that have literally everything you might need, within 200m on foot. The hotel also offers a shuttle service so their “private” beach for 16EUR (2025) that includes a drink, shuttle service, beach loungers etc. and also here are restaurants, snack bars, lifeguards etc. so everything you need for a great day out :) Staff were friendly and full of information and ready to help organise any type of request.

The breakfast was plentiful but low quality, compared to all of the other food that we consumed over the week. We also did not enjoy the coffee which was a big negative for us as the coffee is usually amazing anywhere you go in Italy.

Świetnie położony hotel, bo i do plaży blisko i do kolejki linowej żeby wjechać na górę, do centrum miasta. Bardzo miła obsługa, bardzo dobre jedzenie, pokój dla jednej osoby trochę mały ale zupełnie wystarczający. Fajny basen na dachu dostępny od rana. Jest co robić.

This is a 2.5 star hotel, although rated as 4 star. No fridge, kettle in the room. And no internet. Location is good. However evening meals are very average for Sicily. Out in the restaurants are far better. Breakfast is OK. Unfortunately the coffee machine makes cappuccino from Nescafé. Not real coffee. There is a damp smell in the hotel. Room is tired and need upgrading. It does not justify the 4 star rating. Reception staff are very nice and helpful. Bar staff does not have a clue about when it says champagne cocktails, they don’t have a champagne in it but prosecco! Since when EU countries mislead the tourist, And get away with it.?

Rapporto qualità prezzo buoni Ma alcune cose potrebbero curarle meglio tipo sostituire in bagno il pannello su soffitto dove si vede che c'è stata un infiltrazione e pulire meglio la zona piscina

Avoid at all costs This hotel is outdated and depressing. no fridge in the room which is unacceptable for the italian heat, and almost everything feels stuck in the past. Breakfast was terrible: stale, tasteless, and almost no selection. atrocious coffee. Worst of all, one of the waiters (Vincenzo) made me, as a solo female traveler, feel extremely uncomfortable with his inappropriate behavior. Absolutely unacceptable. Stay anywhere else.
