Homewood Suites by Hilton Columbus

Hotel extremely dated. Room didn’t match description. Originally we were given room with torn couch , center part of couch completely ripped to show the sponge underneath. Tried to contact hotels.com to refund but they could not be reached. Fortunately front desk gave us another room. It was much better but still dated.

The room was comfortable and was equipped with various amenities which provided a great upgrade that is not found in other hotels. The accommodations created an atmosphere that resembled a small apartment away from home.

We stay here at least once a month and it's excellent every time. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone!

Thought we had booked a king, but it ended up being a double …. There was an upsell when I booked on the site and I guess I didn’t read carefully … also, the AC popping on and off all night is loud, kept waking me up.

I’m not sure what is going on at the hotel, but they need to get the air fixed before they continue booking stays. Lobby and hallways are 80 degrees. Rooms are hot! I expressed my concern and I was told my air would be checked. Woke up to a room that is as 78 degrees and just told I’m sorry. Stay away until they get this issue fixed!

We got put in a handicap access room so it wasn’t as up to date as the other rooms. There was a bowl of old cereal in the cabinet when we arrived… but other than that the hotel was clean. Didn’t go to pool area or other areas besides for breakfast. There were any different options for breakfast.

Although I didn’t personally stay at the Homewood Suites, I had the opportunity to assist a friend during their visit, and I have to say, the level of service we received was outstanding. I especially want to recognize Monique Kellogg, who went above and beyond to ensure our friend’s stay was as pleasant and comfortable as possible. From the moment we interacted with her, it was clear that Monique genuinely cares about the guests. She was friendly, professional, and incredibly accommodating. What really stood out was her positive attitude, even while dealing with a knee injury, which would understandably put most people in a tough mood. Instead, Monique greeted us with warmth, patience, and a can do spirit. Her commitment to excellent service didn’t go unnoticed, and it made a meaningful difference in our experience. Thank you, Monique, for your kindness and dedication. You’re a true asset to the Homewood Suites team!
