Torwood House

Reading the reviews, Torwood House looked like an exceptional place to stay and it was no disappointment. The couple who run it are superb and can't do enough for you, and the breakfast is great. We had a larger room than we expected and the facilities were good too. You can walk to the seafront in a matter of minutes, and to the centre of town in about 15.

The only thing to be aware of is the walls aren't that soundproof and you can hear other guests walking around. This wasn't an issue for us though as it all went quiet when we wanted to go to sleep.

The service and the breakfast is awesome.

We had an excellent stay at this B&B. The location was great for travelling around West Cornwall. We had a noiseless fridge in the room and everything needed for our stay. The homecooked breakfast was delicious!

Lovely place to stay, very near the seafront. The room had everything we needed - lovely comfy bed, great bathroom and even a small fridge. We could not fault anything here. Super breakfast but most of all are the hosts; so friendly and kind - we would thoroughly recommend this place and will hope to return soon. Thank you Linda for being so kind - beautiful home made bread for breakfast.

The property was ideal for us as we had travelled to see the rugby ( the Pirates ground is a two minute walk away). The rooms were comfortable , however l our bed would benefit from a new matress. Our friends who also travelled with us said the same about their bed. Apart from this our stay was great. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. Would we book again? Certainly

Our first choice for a return visit to Penzance as we enjoyed it so much before. Wonderfully friendly hosts, we asked for and got our preferred room, and the breakfasts are even better! Still ample free on-street parking and we were happy walking in to town in the evenings for a bite to eat. The sea is still at the end of the road 😄
