Torwood House

Beautiful building, surroundings and decor, very welcoming host and our room was very comfortable and spacious. Very clean too.

the only thing which would have been better was if the breakfast serving time was a little longer, say 8 -10, rather than 8-9am. Otherwise, it was a very pleasant stay and I'd definitely stay here again.

I received a really warm, friendly greeting when I arrived very early just to drop my bag off. As my room was ready, I was able to check in and dry off on a very wet day. The room was warm, comfortable and quiet. The bathroom was well equipped and clean. There was a really good choice for breakfast. I was travelling with my dog, who was also made very welcome. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Amazing host, location Breakfast was lush

Lynda and Steve are great hosts, helpful and talkative and made us feel at home. The house is in a great location, and we had a room in the back so it was very quiet. The bed was super comfortable, and they made us a great breakfast. We were close enough to walk to dinner the first night in Penzance. Parking was available on the street directly in front of the house.

Can't think of anything that would have improved the stay (less rain, but not in their control).

Not much and that was all age of building related.

Great location; 5 minutes from the beach, and about 5 minutes from the shops. On street parking right outside the door (and there's a lot). Lynda (and Steve) were great hosts. Breakfast was brilliant, would definitely recommend one of the yoghurts they offer. The room itself was a decent size; comes with a fridge, heater (which was used briefly once, and does the job), and a very comfortable bed. If in the Penzance area, I'll definitely stay again.

The toilet seemed cramped. The bathroom itself was a good size. Although I don't know how they could fix that minor issue. And one time, after returning from the town, there was an odd smell, from the bathroom. Water pressure in the shower, wasn't the best (but still more than acceptable). The bedside lamps were also pretty dim. Those are just 2 very minor points. But I'd still give it 10/10

The hosts were very helpful and friendly. They organised early breakfast for us and transport.
